RINDE CONNECT: MEET & GREET IN MÖLLN

Bark has more to offer: the versatility of this natural raw material and the products that can be made from it were at the heart of Rinde Connect in Mölln on 23 October. The event brought together different perspectives on a shared raw material: business partners and industry colleagues took the opportunity to get to know our production site, gain insights into bark processing, and learn more about the different products and their applications. The idea behind it was to look beyond bark as a finished product and highlight the processing, expertise, and people behind it.

INSIGHTS INTO BARK PROCESSING

At its Mölln site, the Brüning Group operates one of Germany’s largest production facilities for bark mulch and other bark products. Using state-of-the-art technology and drawing on many years of expertise, our team processes the raw material on site to create a range of products for gardening, landscaping, and other applications. Our product range includes bark mulch, produced from raw bark in a variety of grades, from fine to coarse, as well as soil improvers such as bark humus. The range is complemented by fall protection bark and fall protection wood chips. Some of our products can be supplied with RAL quality assurance on request. The different grades and properties allow customers to select materials suited to their specific intended use.

At Rinde Connect, participants were given a guided tour to learn about the production of precisely these products, gaining further insight into the processing and refinement of the raw material. Alongside these technical insights, Rinde Connect also provided an opportunity to connect and exchange ideas. Over a relaxed chat, accompanied by bratwurst and cold drinks, participants were able to network, share practical experiences and discuss products, requirements and potential applications with our team. Patrick Spyra, Team Lead of the Unit Bark, sums up the event:

“For us, Rinde Connect was a very successful event. The customers were curious, and we were able to show them which products we manufacture in Mölln, as not everyone was actually familiar with the full range. The insights into our production process and the technical discussions were also well received. It was great for us to see that we were able to offer our guests added value in this way, whilst at the same time gaining a lot ourselves from the conversations – and those have already resulted in initial enquiries and offers.”

BARK CONNECTS – FOR THE LONG TERM

Rinde Connect brought bark production and the people behind it together. For us, engaging with our customers is a vital part of our collaborative partnership – and an opportunity to learn from one another and gain fresh inspiration. After all, effective collaboration stems not only from what we produce, but also from the dialogue we share. We want to build on this with open conversations, shared expertise and a joint vision on the possibilities bark has to offer.
