Biomass – roughly speaking, the biodegradable part of products, waste and residues from agriculture and forestry – is an important renewable raw material and, as a renewable energy source, an important building block of the energy transition with the advantage of CO2-neutral or low-CO2 energy production.
Renewable energies, sustainability and renewable raw materials are the core of our business. As the German market leader and a pan-European player in the international bulk materials sector, we have extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, especially in the biomass market. For more than 25 years, we have been focussing on services and structuring trade between raw material producers and material and thermal recyclers.
We utilise biomass and supply CHP plants with fuels such as wood chips, waste wood as well as material from landscape conservation, but we also supply high-quality soil conditioners such as bark mulch, wood chips or bedding.
