Peat is a purely natural product. Organic sediment is formed in peatlands when dead plant remains cannot decompose completely in the absence of air.
Peat has very good biological, chemical and physical properties, which are important in the production of growing media.

IT IS THE MIXTURE THAT MAKES IT
If a deposit consists of 30 percent organic substance and the rest is composed of water and minerals, then it is called peat. Peat is a raw material that can be mixed with other components to create functional substrates as required.
PH-VALUE-EXPERT
This allows, for example, the pH value to be adjusted specifically to the plant. Especially orchards or plants and woods that prefer an acidic soil benefit from this property of peat.
SRORAGE CAPABILITY
From a horticultural point of view, the water storage capability of peat should not be neglected either. Special leaf cells can store 15 to 30 times as much water again, even after severe desiccation.
