Bark humus & compost
Organic soil conditioners
Whether bark humus or compost – the use of organic fertilisers can reduce the consumption of mineral fertilisers. Organic fertilisers offer many advantages and contribute to improving the soil structure. Plants will succeed more easily in penetrating the soil structure by means of the roots so that they have better stability. In addition, a well-rooted soil is less vulnerable to erosion caused by wind or rain.
In addition, the substances contained in bark humus can prevent the growth of pests and weed. When using organic fertilisers, the soil is enriched with valuable nutrients such as nitrogen, potassium, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, and also sulphur. Thanks to this nutrient supply, the plants can develop healthily.

Landscapers, nurseries, soil and substrate industry
Characteristics
Bark humus can store nutrients and release them needs-based (buffering), providing plants with all important primary and micro-nutrients, ensuring a certain stabilization of the pH value. Furthermore, it is deemed to be a structure-stable aggregate, ensuring improved drainage of fine substrates.
Humus is a valuable aggregate for earth and substrates, sustainably loosening and ventilating the soil. Unlike bark mulch, bark humus does not contain tannic acid.
