Powerful Energy Source and Versatile All-Rounder

Trunk wood chips are high-quality wood chips made from logs of wood types such as oak, birch and softwood. These wood chips are particularly suitable as fuel for heating systems and combined heat and power plants, as their low residual moisture content and low fines content enable efficient combustion. Thanks to the precise cutting length and optional chamber drying, trunk wood chips offer an ideal alternative to split logs and wood pellets. Their high energy content makes them particularly attractive for sustainable heating. However, their potential uses go beyond energy generation. In addition to MDF production, trunk wood chips are also ideal for use in the garden or on playgrounds: They can be used as mulch to cover the ground or as fall protection under playground equipment, providing both functional and safety benefits.
