Sustainable Fuel with a Wide Range of Uses
Forest wood chips are an environmentally friendly fuel obtained from residual wood such as branches and thinning material. These wood chips are produced directly in the forestry industry and are used as sustainable energy wood for wood chip heating systems and heating plants. These wood chips offer an efficient way of generating energy from renewable raw materials and are a cost-effective alternative to conventional firewood. They also promote sustainable forest management.
In addition to their use energy from wood or in MDF production, forest wood chips are also ideal as fall protection in play areas. This multifunctional use makes forest wood chips particularly valuable for various applications.
