Oat bran is generated as a valuable by-product during the processing of oats. The cleaned material is subsequently pressed into pellets, creating a homogeneous product that is easy to store and transport and offers versatile application possibilities.
Oat bran pellets are characterised by very high absorbency and reliable odour-binding properties. Pelletisation creates a low-dust product with a moisture content of approximately 8 to 12 percent, which is particularly easy to store, transport and handle. The pellets are free from foreign materials and are supplied in a cleaned condition.
Oat bran pellets are ideally suited as bedding material for horses, cattle and poultry. Thanks to their high absorbency and low-dust properties, they contribute to a hygienic and comfortable stable environment. In addition, they can be used as animal feed, offering versatile applications in livestock farming.
