The Brüning Group is continuing its course of international growth: as a globally operating system service provider specialising in the trading and logistics of biomass and renewable raw materials, the company has reached a commercial agreement with Södra to take over selected business segments in Denmark. The acquisition covers the areas of bioenergy, project sales, and interior wood. Signing and closing of the transaction are planned for September.
NEW BUSINESS PORTFOLIO THROUGH EXPANSION IN NORTHERN EUROPE
The agreement is part of the strategic development of both companies: whilst Södra will focus on its core business in the future, the Brüning Group is expanding its portfolio with a new business area through the takeover. The company already holds a strong international position in the bioenergy sector and is continuously expanding its activities along the value chain. At the same time, the Brüning Group is strengthening its presence in Northern Europe.

SMOOTH INTEGRATION IN DENMARK
As part of the acquisition, the activities and employees in the areas of bioenergy, project sales, and interior wood will be integrated into the Brüning Group and will in future be managed through Brüning Group Danmark ApS. During the transition period, the focus will be on a smooth integration and ensuring continuity for customers, business partners, and employees.
