What do you find most exciting about the market situation right now?
- The shortage of e.g. waste wood brings many new opportunities for the Brüning Group as a trading and service company.
- The dynamics of the market are totally exciting, as we have to be more vigilant than ever before with regard to acceptance and delivery potentials at suppliers and customers.
- Due to the general panic on the market for waste wood, we only agree on prices for the time being and accordingly develop a feeling for available quantities and the price structure, which helps us to supply our customers and to offer our suppliers and forwarders prices in line with the market.
- The Brüning Group therefore takes on a meaningful function in the volatile market, which is characterised by fear and uncertainty.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
- The versatility of the profession, as we do both purchasing and sales partly from one source
- Developing new potential on one’s own responsibility and building up long-term, close business relationships
- Working in a team with short lines of communication and quick solutions to problems
What or who really surprised you in a positive way at the Brüning Group?
- Our well-coordinated waste wood team, which is in daily contact with hundreds of market participants
- The dynamics of everyday office life with all its ups and downs
