NEW YOUNG PROFESSIONALS – WELCOME!

The new year of vocational training has begun. We are pleased to welcome five new apprentices to the Brüning Group and to accompany them on their way into professional life.

The “newcomers” start directly in the orientation phase in the company. In the first 6-8 months, everyone passes through the most important units to get an overview of the entire company, its structure and organisation, and to get to know their future colleagues. After that, they work in their respective unit and are usually given their own area of responsibility. The young people are fully integrated into our daily work from the very beginning, which benefits both sides. In general, we employ our apprentices on a permanent basis later on and support their further career.

Martina Brüns, Head of Human Resources, states: “This year we were able to fill all of our apprenticeship positions in wholesale and foreign trade management – a great rate! The only downer is that we have not yet been able to fill a position for a trade assistant in freight forwarding and logistics services.”

This year, two apprentices will start their training in the Bark unit and the unit for Renewable Raw Materials (Biomass) at the headquarters in Fischerhude. At our location in Bremen, the Plastics and Waste Paper units will be reinforced by two young people, and at our location in Hallbergmoos near Munich, one apprentice will join the Bark unit. Everyone is already looking forward to the new young professionals at the Brüning Group and of course wishes them a warm welcome!

Martina Brüns adds: “The selection process for the vocational training year 2023/2024 has already started and we are looking forward to many motivated applicants.”
