Wood chips
Can be used in many ways
Our wood chips, whether landscape conservation wood chips, sawmill wood chips, trunk wood chips or forest wood chips, can be used in many different areas and utilised both materially and thermally.
Whether in the industries based on wood and pulp, for landscaping, in beds as bark mulch substitute, as floor covering with large events, as fall protection under playground equipment or in small heating systems or biomass heating and power plants, we have the suitable material.
The most important area of application for the material utilisation of sawmill wood chips is the pulp industry as well as wood-based material and pellet production.
In gardening and landscaping, our sawmill wood chips convince by long durability. The positive properties of wood chips also include good permeability, elasticity and low dust content.
With wood chips as fall protection surfacing, e.g. on playgrounds, cities and municipalities are on the safe side. Their shock-absorbing effect reduces the risk of injury in case of falls. The amount required depends on the respective fall height.
Energy from wood! When it comes to thermal utilisation, our premium-quality dry wood chips are used in small heating systems up to 1.5 MW, among other things. There they ensure the smooth operation of the wood chip heating system. We will gladly adapt to the special needs of the respective heating system and inform ourselves about the delivery options on site. Our cleanly screened wood chips with low water content are free of foreign matters and completely free of green content. But we are also the right partner for the thermal use of wood chips in biomass heating and power plants and take care of the supply of the best material, the logistics or are the buyer of your wood chips. As wood is a renewable raw material, carbon dioxide is only released during the incineration process in as much the quantity as had been previously absorbed during photosynthesis. Wood fuels such as split logs, pellets or wood chips are therefore CO2-neutral in their use.
