Description
In addition to the predominant proportion of natural wood, the material contains impurities such as glass, textiles, bones, waste wood and, in particular, foil waste and hard plastics.

Screen overflow from the composting of municipal organic waste (organic waste bin)
Utilisation
Depending on the quality, the screen overflow is supplied to further treatment to remove impurities with the aim of producing fuel from the natural wood fraction that complies with the German Renewable Energy Sources Act. The poorer qualities are incinerated in waste-to-energy plants to generate energy.
