Some “Spice” for the Ice

It won’t be long before the temperatures drop – freezing rain or the first flakes cover the streets with a layer of ice and snow. Those who have a stock of road salt are well advised. Once roads, paths or premises are slippery, it is often too late to order. After all, the material is the most commonly used gritting agent in winter road conditions, as it has proven to be the best choice for ensuring safety on the roads due to its ability to dissolve a developing layer of ice more quickly or to prevent it from forming in advance.

This year in particular, however, bottlenecks can arise quickly, as the salt stocks were more or less empty after the strong onset of winter at the beginning of the year. This time, in production, even the summer break was skipped in order to fill the stocks sufficiently. Already, orders are in full swing and de-icing salt could become a scarce commodity this season.

We provide you with high-quality material from German production in accordance with the current guidelines of DIN EN 16811-1:2016 (formerly TL-Streu). The grain class M offered by us has a well-balanced ratio of fine and coarse parts for an optimal thawing effect. The coarser grains lead to better adhesion in a closed snow cover and the finer fractions are particularly advantageous in icy conditions due to the better distribution and the quick onset of the thawing effect.

We would be pleased to make you an individual offer taking into account the minimum delivery quantity. We offer the de-icing salt loose, in bags of 25 kg and in big bags of 1,000 kg on Euro pallets. If you are interested, please feel free to contact us.
