- as material in the production of medium-density fibreboards (provided they meet quality guidelines)
- thermal in small combustion plants <1.5 MW, biomass heating plants and cogeneration plants

- Calorific value: approx. 2.50 MWh/kg
- Grain size: G30 – G100 / P 16 – 100
- low content of leaves and needles
