Full Energy with Biomass – Full Supply Extended

We are very pleased to be able to report that, after conclusion in December last year, we signed the contracts for the early extension of the full supply for AVR Energie GmbH in Sinsheim this January. The agreed volume continues to amount to 20,000 t lutro p.a. and was extended until 31 December 2024.

AVR Energie GmbH supplies over 360 households under the name “AVR KlimaWärme”, previously known as “SinsheimWärme”, including the vocational school centre, the district hospital, the town hall and the municipal schools. Here, the concept of “Heat from the region for the region” applies, using biomass from the Rhine-Neckar district. This saves 6,500 tonnes of Co2 and 1,850,000 litres of heating oil every year.

According to Jochen Schütz, authorised signatory at AVR Energie GmbH, the early extension of the contract is based on the good partnership with the Brüning | Group. He particularly emphasised the reliability of our team. Alisa Schriefer, Key Account Manager for renewable resources, confirmed: “It is a good sign that the contract has been extended prematurely. This shows how important it is to be a reliable partner and to work closely with customers. Our aim is to ensure a good supply at all times. It is not always easy to meet these self-imposed targets, especially as in this case we are selling biomass from the region. Ultimately, however, it is a challenge that we have once again mastered.” We look forward to another successful four years!
