Origin
Our sawdust is a natural product made from fine-grained softwood material, screened and dedusted.
Characteristics
Sawdust contains significantly less fungi and bacteria than e.g. straw and is therefore well suited for allergy sufferers. Stables bedded with shavings feature a lower dust particle concentration in the stable air. In addition, the fine grain makes them economical to use with excellent moisture absorption and odour retention.
Use
As a bedding product, sawdust provides a good grip on the ground and thus prevents the animals from slipping away, which is why it is also popular for livestock transport.
