Great news from our waste wood unit. We are pleased to announce that the extension of exclusive contracts for several years was recently successfully concluded with two customers – firstly with the Swiss Krono Tex GmbH & Co. KG from Heiligengrabe and with the Baufeld GmbH from Austria. The Baufeld GmbH supplies the chipboard plant of the FunderMax GmbH in Neudörfl with raw materials such as waste wood, pulpwood and sawdust.
The full supply contract with Swiss Krono has already existed since August 2011. We supply the company with around 50,000 t of waste wood A1-A2 per year as combustible. The contract has now been extended until mid-2025.
The exclusive supply contract with Baufeld has been in place since 2018 and was also extended. The Brüning Group exclusively supplies waste wood volumes from various countries to Austria.
The negotiations were always very constructive and at eye level. The result is contractual terms and conditions that take into account the interests of both sides and are extremely fair. In both contracts, together with our customers, we placed particular emphasis on doing justice to the volatile and dynamic market conditions. For us, the contracts are confirmation that with the Brüning Group we can rely on strong partners in difficult supply situations and that they can rely on us in return – one of the most important prerequisites for long-term business relationships and partnerships.
