Fall protection is good! Good fall protection is better! That is why we at the Brüning | Group have decided to take the quality of fall protection into our own hands with our own product – Brüning WONDERFALL fall protection bark 20-80 mm.
Fall protection bark is a natural product and as a surface comparable to forest soil. In contrast to other surfaces such as rubber flooring, it is more natural and environmentally friendly. The elastic and flexible properties of the material cushion falls and prevent injuries. In addition, bark is very easy to care for and is also suitable for use in wet conditions, as it retains its grip.
It is therefore an ideal product to meet the safety standards for playground equipment in publicly operated playgrounds, kindergartens, schools, etc. This is because they are subject to the European standards DIN EN 1176 for playground equipment and DIN EN 1177 for shock-absorbing playground floors, i.e. from a height of fall of 0.6 m a corresponding fall protection or shock-absorbing floor covering must be provided.
Why launch an own product on the market now? Especially during seasonal periods such as the summer holidays, demand is increasing, e.g. from municipalities. With our fall protection bark we want to ensure that we are able to supply and meet the needs of our customers. There are only a few certified producers and the availability on the market does not always meet the demand. With the Brüning WONDERFALL fall protection bark we are able to remain reliable and independent.
The bark is delivered to our site in Mölln. There it is processed and thus “refined”. But first of all, several screening tests and frequent sifting were necessary until we had achieved the quality we wanted. The long time of waiting and testing was worth it and the result is perfect. After good coordination between Hendrik Bauer, responsible for sustainability and certification, and TÜV Süd, our fall protection bark was certified.
In any case, we think it would be wonderful if WONDERFALL would decorate the playgrounds in the future and protect the dear little ones.
Of course, we will continue to offer certified fall protection wood chips in proven quality, which we purchase from our selected sales partners.
