De-icing salt has proven its worth over the years and, due to its properties, has become the most commonly used gritting agent to ensure safety in winter road conditions.
The material traded by us comes from German production and consists of sodium chloride. Its quality corresponds to the current guidelines of DIN EN 16811-1:2016 (formerly TL-Streu). The offered grain class M has a well-balanced ratio of fine and coarse parts, which ensures an optimal thawing effect. The coarser grains lead to better adhesion in a closed snow cover and have a lasting thawing effect. The finer grains are particularly advantageous in icy conditions, as they spread better and the thawing effect starts quickly.
